The 914’s design includes a removable Targa roof panel, distinctive pop-up headlights, and a central engine placement that delivers balanced handling characteristic of the model. The Liquid Silver finish complements the car’s streamlined proportions and highlights its angular bodywork, which was engineered to appeal to both performance enthusiasts and drivers seeking distinctive 1970s styling. The vehicle offered by SBX Cars appears to retain original trim and mechanical components, suggesting preservation rather than extensive modification. The flat-four engine and manual transmission are presented as part of the car’s period-correct specification, while interior surfaces and controls reflect the era’s minimalist sports car aesthetic. The auction listing positions the 1970 Porsche 914 Targa as a collector-grade classic representative of its generation, appealing to enthusiasts interested in vintage European sports cars.
