Designed by Vito Nesta, this series of practical and decorative items features a seamstress's tools on a magnified scale. Dimpled thimbles have been blown up to become generous [colorful vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vesper-collection) and buttons have been expanded to serve as [dinner plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monte-porcelain). Giant needles and ceramic spools of thread sit alongside [painted porcelain](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/destree-x-cabana) balls of yarn to become a charming series of needlecraft knickknacks. The Santoria Collection conjures nostalgia, comfort and creativity to give occupants of minimalist modern homes a sense of warmth. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Magnified Home Decor:** Design magnified household items to create a sense of nostalgia and comfort in modern minimalist homes. - **Functional Art:** Fusing functionality and design creates a new category of art pieces. - **Upscaling Nostalgia:** Upscaling everyday items from the past creates a feeling of nostalgia in modern homes. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can incorporate magnified household items in their designs to appeal to modern minimalist homes. - **Art:** Creating functional art pieces that fuse utilitarianism and design can be a game-changer in the art industry. - **Tableware:** Tableware companies can create new pieces based on the nostalgic items from the past. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Ceramic Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-of-tangible-spaces.md) - [Vibrant Artisanal Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sobremesa.md) - [Handmade Kitchen Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/il-buco-vita-x-commune-design.md) - [Curated Homeware Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-common-thread.md) - [Handmade Modern Ceramics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-gunia-project.md) - [Vibrantly Designed Playful Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hem.md) - [Adorable Ceramic Homeware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-homeware1.md) - [Playful Storage Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berto-hidden-secrets.md) - [Daily Ritual Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/routines-collection.md)
