# Jolly Holiday Accessory Kits Be Santa All Year Long with a Secret Emergency Santa Costumes By Elise Ying-Hei Ho | Published 2012-10-01 | Special Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/santa-costumes References: [mcphee](http://mcphee.com/shop/emergency-santa-kit.html) It's easy to quickly transform into Old Saint Nick any time of the year with the Emergency Santa Kit. Available in each can is a Santa hat along with an inflatable beard that hooks around the ears. Unfortunately, the tiny tin can cannot fit a Santa suit so you'll have to make do with what you've got in an emergency. Since both materials are quite flexible, you can keep these items all year round in the desk drawer of your office or in the back of your closet so the kids won't find them. Has it crossed anyone's mind that they can be Santa for Halloween too? The Santa costumes will surely be available at that time of year. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Special](https://www.trendhunter.com/special) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Year-round Santa Accessories:** Opportunity to create and market Santa accessory kits that can be used anytime, not just during the holiday season. - **Portable Santa Costume Solutions:** Opportunity to develop compact and easy-to-carry Santa costumes for emergency situations or spontaneous events. - **Santa Costumes for Halloween:** Opportunity to capitalize on the popularity of Halloween by offering Santa costumes as an alternative costume choice. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Holiday Costume Retail:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for retail businesses specializing in year-round holiday costumes, including Santa accessories. - **Event Planning:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for event planning companies to offer portable Santa costume solutions for various events or emergencies. - **Seasonal Costume Production:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for costume manufacturers to expand production to include Santa costumes for Halloween. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Santa-Themed Chocolate Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kit-kat-santas.md) - [Sour Seasonal Candy Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sour-patch-kids-santa-elves.md) - [AI-Powered Santa Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heysanta.md) - [Customizable Holiday Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merry-sparkles-outdoor-decor.md) - [Holiday Film Cookie Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buddy-the-elf-hat-sugar-cookie-kit.md) - [Candy Bowl Costumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trickortreatable-costume.md) - [DIY Holiday Donut Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-creations-kit.md) - [Christmas Tree Pancake Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/complete-pancake-kit.md) - [Coal-Shaped Candies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/itsugar-merry-frickn-christmas-box.md)
