The best part is, this whole renovation only cost her approximately $3,000. This [super small home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rover-tiny-homes-tulameen) doesn't have a washroom or kitchen, but the intricate details on this statement piece is definitely enough to catch plenty of stares. Sandra Foster then bought china dishes, ruffled bedding and even dripping crystal chandeliers to complete the Victorian feel. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **DIY Home Renovation:** Opportunities for individuals to transform old homes into unique and personalized living spaces on a budget. - **Victorian Style Decor:** Growing demand for intricate and ornate design elements in interior decor. - **Thrifty Home Makeovers:** Increasing popularity of budget-friendly home renovation projects that prioritize creativity and resourcefulness. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Improvement Retail:** Retailers specializing in DIY home renovation supplies and materials. - **Interior Design:** Professionals providing expertise in creating unique and visually striking living spaces. - **Vintage Home Decor:** Businesses offering a wide range of antique and vintage items for home decoration. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Juxtaposing Retro Cottage Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drew-mandel-architects.md) - [Revived Stone Sheds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microhome-renovation.md) - [Tiara-Like Facade Victorian Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiara-house.md) - [Historic Farmhouse Revivals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joe-burns.md) - [Compact Refurbished Micro-Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sassi.md) - [Restored Victorian Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-on-a-hill.md) - [Textural Tranquil Cottage Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harriets-house.md) - [Stone Cottage Renos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hameart-project.md) - [Refurbished London Victorian Townhomes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/br-house.md)
