The video ‘Display Centric World’ gives people a glimpse into a world that is full of interactive displays. Almost every surface, window and tabletop has the ability to transform into a user-friendly display. Different concepts are shown throughout the video, including a coffee cup with an embedded fingerprint scanner that shows your health directly on the cups surface. We are also shown a display that takes up an entire wall and a transparent alarm clock that folds in half to turn the alarm off. The most interesting concept device shown in the Samsung Smart Display concept is the display-enabled kitchen cutting board. It delivers information about the food you are preparing, including calories and ingredients currently being used. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interactive Displays:** Opportunity for companies to create interactive displays that can transform any surface into a user-friendly interface. - **Integrated Health Monitoring:** Potential for businesses to develop products that seamlessly integrate health monitoring into everyday objects, such as a coffee cup with an embedded fingerprint scanner that shows your health directly on the cup's surface. - **Smart Kitchen Appliances:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies to design smart kitchen appliances, like a display-enabled cutting board that provides information about the food being prepared. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Consumer electronics companies can explore the development of interactive displays and integrated health monitoring devices. - **Healthcare and Wellness:** Opportunity for healthcare and wellness industry to integrate health monitoring technology into everyday objects to promote personal health and well-being. - **Kitchen Appliances:** Kitchen appliance industry can innovate by incorporating smart technologies into their products, like display-enabled cutting boards for enhanced cooking experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Projected Kitchen Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-holodisplay.md) - [Future-Facing Smart Home Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overlay-display.md) - [Transforming Smart Display Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-display.md) - [Smart Home Control Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kocom-the-frame.md) - [Transforming Tablet Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-galaxy-fold-mini-concept.md) - [Foldable Sliding Display Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-flex-hybrid.md) - [Script-Like Foldable Display Screens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rollable-flex.md) - [Malleable Wearable Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motorola-adaptive-display-concept.md) - [Smartphone-Powered Portable Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onze-portable-display.md)
