Samsung also had a different, slightly more upscale release with its NX300 but this camera has less of a focus on 3D shooting and more on usability. The main standout feature on the Samsung NX30 is the EVF viewer that extends up like a video camera and the slide-out touch screen. Essentially this is the best of both worlds in terms of marrying video camera flexibility with [DSLR power and design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sigma). There’s also a 1/8000s shutter speed which is top class. You won’t find many faults with the camera unless you go looking for them and for the less storied of the two cameras, it still delivers a high-end experience. The camera comes bundled with [Adobe](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canon-eos-c50) Photoshop Lightroom 5 and a 18-55mm lens, which has the entire kit floating around $1,000, all in all not bad for some a strong piece of tech. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **EVF Viewer Technology:** The development of EVF viewer technology in cameras like the Samsung NX30 opens up opportunities for immersive video shooting experiences. - **Slide-out Touch Screen:** The introduction of slide-out touch screens in cameras like the Samsung NX30 enhances usability and provides innovative ways for photographers to navigate settings and controls. - **High-speed Shutter:** The integration of a 1/8000s shutter speed in cameras like the Samsung NX30 sets new standards for capturing fast-paced action and sports photography. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography Equipment:** Photography equipment manufacturers can explore the incorporation of EVF viewer technology and slide-out touch screens to create innovative and user-friendly DSLR cameras. - **Software Development:** Software developers can create editing and post-processing tools that are specifically optimized for cameras with EVF viewer technology and high-speed shutter capabilities. - **Sports Photography:** Sports photographers can leverage the high-speed shutter feature of cameras like the Samsung NX30 to capture precise moments in fast-moving athletic events, resulting in compelling and impactful images. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Easily Maneuvered Outdoor Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duo-camera.md) - [Retro Full-Frame Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-fullframe-camera.md) - [Upgraded Compact Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panasonic-zs99.md) - [Retro-Style 4K Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nikon-z-fc-black-edition.md) - [Photography-Focused Smartphone Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-galaxy-s23-series-accessories.md) - [Vintage-Modern Sleek Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fujifilmxe5.md) - [Budget Cinema Compact Camera](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/budget-cinema-compact-camera.md) - [Influencer-Focused Compact Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/influencerfocused-compact-camera.md) - [360-Degree Action Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-x3.md)
