Designed by Wonchul Hwang, Hwanwoong Choi, Jusaeng Kim and Minho Cha, the Samsung Classic Bulb naturally uses dramatically less energy than a traditional Edison bulb and will last even longer to ensure you can enjoy the design aesthetic for an extended period of time. Crafted from plastic to offer a significant weight reduction, the Samsung Classic Bulb features antique styling with brass-colored paint to boot, which makes it a clear winner for fixtures that place [bare bulbs on display](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-glow-light) to effectively blend the old with the new. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Antique-inspired LED Bulbs:** The Samsung Classic Bulb combines antique styling with modern LED technology, offering energy efficiency and longevity. - **Design Overhaul of Classic Aesthetics:** The Samsung Classic Bulb demonstrates an opportunity for designers to reimagine traditional designs with modern materials and technologies. - **Integration of Old and New:** Combining antique aesthetics with modern functionality, the Samsung Classic Bulb showcases the potential for seamless integration of contrasting design elements. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Lightning Fixtures and Design:** Manufacturers of lighting fixtures can explore incorporating antique-inspired LED bulbs to offer a unique blend of classic and contemporary aesthetics. - **Interior Design and Decor:** Interior designers can utilize antique-inspired LED bulbs to enhance the ambiance of spaces while optimizing energy efficiency. - **Sustainable Lighting Solutions:** Companies in the sustainable lighting industry can capitalize on the antique-inspired LED bulb trend to provide long-lasting and eco-friendly lighting options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vintage-Inspired Flashlight Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barebones-edison-light-stick.md) - [Modernized Antique-Style Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/odina-table-lamp.md) - [High-Performance Residential LED Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/residential-led-lighting.md) - [Ultra-Efficient LED Lightbulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultraefficient-led-lightbulbs.md) - [Vintage Aesthetic Practical Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barebones.md) - [Dazzling Gradient Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Candle Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-candle-lamps.md) - [Organically Shaped Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flourish-table-lamp.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md)
