The art will feature Friedman's signature abstraction, with vibrant hues and immersive and dynamic shapes. The exhibit pays homage to Leonard Cohen's 1985 poem, for which the exhibit was named after. The poem highlight's Cohen's experiences on the island of Hydra, located in Greece, where the poet had an affair with Marianne IIhlen. “It is a poem full of the warmth of a summer evening illuminated by the moon, candles, and oil lamps echoing the tender feelings of a relationship that in the meantime has come to an end,” stated the gallery. The Days of Kindness exhibit will be open for visitation from July 25th until August 23rd. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Abstract Art Exhibitions:** Opportunity for artists to showcase their unique abstract artwork in immersive and dynamic exhibitions. - **Collaborations with Poets:** Artists can collaborate with poets to create exhibitions that bring together visual art and literary works. - **Location-based Art Experiences:** Creating art installations that are inspired by and tailored to specific locations and their cultural significance. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art Galleries:** Art galleries can curate and showcase abstract art exhibitions, attracting art enthusiasts looking for immersive experiences. - **Creative Collaborations:** Opportunities for artists and poets to collaborate on projects that blend visual art and literary works, catering to a diverse audience. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can create unique art experiences that incorporate location-based installations, attracting visitors seeking culturally rich experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Psychedelic Sculptural Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frank-stella-recent-sculpture.md) - [Artist-Honoring Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artist-honoring-exhibition.md) - [Otherwordly Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/william-monk.md) - [Kyoto-Inspired Solo Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ode-to-kyoto.md) - [Immersive Light Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [American Art Furniture Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/american-art-furniture.md) - [Human Duality-Themed Abstract Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/passive-aggression.md) - [Gem-Like Sculptural Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cylindrical-lenses.md)
