When it comes to granola, most lean sweet, fruity, or even chocolatley. With its new Salted Almond Honey Granola, Trader Joe's looks to offer a more balanced sweet and salty flavor profile, while keeping the same crunchy texture. The new product features crunchy almond-based granola clusters mixed with the perfect ratio of salt and honey. The result is a semi-savory, subtly sweet granola with nutty almond overtones that makes it pair perfectly with everything from milk to non-dairy beverages to yogurt. In fact, the less sweet flavor profile even makes the granola a great crouton alternative for your favorite salads.
