Launched in order to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Audi's Neckarsulm manufacturing facility, the 'EP4,' with the 'E' denoting the vehicle's new electric avatar, is equipped with an electric motor derived from [Audi's e-tron category](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audi-q4-40-etron) and with the capability of producing 240 horsepower. This motor serves as an eco-friendly substitute for the vintage car's original 30-horsepower gas engine. Elsewhere, the vehicle is equipped with a plug-in hybrid and air-cooled battery pack.
