According to the company, this version of a test kit uses the user to [pool saliva](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microplastics-test) in their mouth before adding the collection foam at the end of the wand to be rotated for 90 seconds. Once it alters color, the collection foam can be connected to the analytical unit and get results within the span of 5 to 15 minutes.
