The [Saint Laurent Store](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saint-laurent-springsummer-2024) in Paris recently received a makeover by the one and only Hedi Slimane. The renewed Saint Laurent store boasts an [opulent brand of minimalism](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retail-environment) that has turned the womenswear boutique into something more along the lines of a [pristine fine art gallery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/proenza-schouler1) or presidential penthouse.

The opening of the new Saint Laurent Store in Paris is the latest in a long list of changes made by current creative director of the brand Hedi Slimane, who also pioneered the dropping of "Yves" from the name of the ready-to-wear line.

The newly envisioned Saint Laurent Store in Paris boasts marble flooring and walls, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a mixture of understated furniture and a selection of African sculptures displayed prominently on wooden pillars.
