The Royal College of Art in London has a new building for their Painting department: the Sackler Building designed by London-based architects Haworth Tompkins.

With a dramatic zigzag roof, the single-story Sackler building is creative and expressive—perfect for the art students and visiting artists who will visit the department's seminars, workshops, studios, and offices.

The Sackler Building's zigzag roof also allows minimal sun glare through indirect light, which is ideal for studio painting.

**Implications** - Unique and distinctive designs are great ways for companies to draw attention toward their products. By separating themselves from competing businesses by means of a clever design, companies can also make an ordinary product seem different and innovative to consumers who are looking for items that have a sense of distinctiveness.
