It's as though he can peer into different dimensions simultaneously and then overlap these planes together to create the [warped renderings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-week-at-the-knees) your eyes are currently enjoying. But even when he illustrates more simplistic and comprehensible drawings, his works are still punctuated by a level of [outside-the-box thinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ripples-collection) that very few people in the world actually possess. It's what makes Sachin Teng's work one of a kind and truly a delight for visual splendor junkies. Sachin Teng currently resides in New York City, where he works as an illustrator. He explains that he approaches his projects more so from a designer's point of view rather than an illustrator's in order to draw out a desired discourse between his work and his viewers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Contemporary Surrealist Artwork:** Exploring the overlap of dimensions in artwork to create surreal renderings. - **Outside-the-box Thinking:** Embracing unique and unconventional ideas to produce innovative and captivating illustrations. - **Visual Splendor Junkies:** Creating artwork that appeals to those who appreciate visual beauty and striking aesthetics. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** Opportunities to push the boundaries of traditional art mediums and create unconventional masterpieces. - **Fashion and Advertising:** Incorporating surreal illustrations into fashion campaigns and advertising to capture attention and create a lasting impact. - **Entertainment and Media:** Utilizing surreal artwork in movies, TV shows, and video games to enhance storytelling and create immersive experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Realistic Sketch-Reflective Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-series.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Geometric Sculpture Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illusion-box.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [AI-Generated Retrofuturistic Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrofuturistic-objects.md) - [Geometric Wooden Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aleph-geddis.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Blurry Abstract Photography Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-allusion.md)
