Pavel’s Yogurt is a Russian-style yogurt that's made in small batches and is said to have a mild taste with low acidity and tartness. The product is made with a family recipe that features a blend of yogurt cultures that started in Russia over a century ago, and no preservatives, stabilizers or emulsifiers.

Along with milk sourced from Northern California, the simple, [minimally processed ingredients](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onken-naked-big-pots) in the yogurt are treated with the same [small-batch, artisanal process](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pasture-raised) Pavel learned from his family in the late 1800s. According to the brand, this gives the product a "gentle consistency and delicate mouthfeel" and it can be compared to handmade yogurts found in Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean and India.
