It is a modern residence that embraces the [basic geometric shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neville-park-residence) to make it truly stand out amongst the trees surrounding it. Yet that does not mean it is an eyesore in the least. Instead, it complements the [natural backdrop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stanfordville-house) beautifully. Inspired by "the pastel by Stanislaw Wyspianski, Zagroda Wiejska w Konarach 1905, Muzeum Narodowe w Krakowie," according to the designers, the Rural House by BXBstudio embraces the honesty and simplicity of the painting. Full of floor-to-ceiling windows, it also lets in a lot of natural light, creating an airiness inside. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Geometric Modern Architecture:** Opportunity for architectural firms to incorporate basic geometric shapes to create unique modern designs. - **Floor-to-ceiling Windows:** Opportunity for construction companies to create structures with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in ample natural light. - **Inspiration From Art:** Opportunity for designers and architects to draw inspiration from art to create unique and visually stunning structures. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture:** Architecture industry has an opportunity to create modern homes that incorporate simple yet unique geometric shapes. - **Construction:** Construction industry has an opportunity to incorporate floor-to-ceiling windows and bring in natural light to create aesthetically pleasing structures. - **Design:** Design industry has an opportunity to draw inspiration from paintings and other forms of art to create unique and visually stunning structures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Discreet Architectural Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loop-house.md) - [Rustic Cultural Architectural Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gallery-house.md) - [Barn Home Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bulls-barn.md) - [Traditional Stone Farmhouse Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-bressan.md) - [Rural Charred Modern Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stanfordville-house.md) - [Rustic Warm Homey Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mothers-house.md) - [Barn-Form Family Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twisted-house1.md) - [Vernacular Architectural Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dom-las.md) - [Hillside Embedded Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-the-slope.md)
