The illustrated guide by Christie Young leads readers through the steps of a typical singalong debauchery, beginning with unexpectedly ending up at the [karaoke bar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karaoke-search) and not exactly looking your best. Ending the night by singing a 20-minute-long Paul Simon classic might not sound like a great idea now, but as The Rules of Singing Karaoke explains, these things are often unavoidable. Like all of Christie Young's [illustrated charts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humdrum-paper), this singing soiree guide is incredibly honest and hilarious, and while it may not actually provide you with helpful tips, it does offer the relief that you're not alone.
