# Portable Pooch Feeders RuffBowl Lets Dog Owners Bring Meals and Drinks on Walks By Jason Soy | Published 2011-12-08 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ruffbowl References: [dog-milk](http://dog-milk.com/ruffbowl/) & [ruffbowl](http://www.ruffbowl.com/) I've never had the pleasure of owning a canine companion, but I'd imagine having a RuffBowl would be quite useful. After all, dog owners often find themselves wanting to nourish their pets with food or water during walks, but don't want to carry around extra bowls to put that nourishment in while taking their dogs outdoors. The RuffBowl easily alleviates that simple issue. Essentially, the RuffBowl is a [portable bowl](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trot-pets-1) that attaches to most standard size [retractable dog leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nylon-leash). You simply clip it onto the leash and away you go. Users will barely notice the addition and I'm sure their pooches are ever grateful for the existence of such a product. My biggest incentive for buying the RuffBowl is without a doubt the bag clip which holds poop bags after dogs are done doing their business. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Portable Pet Feeders:** The trend of developing portable feeding and drinking containers for animals that are convenient for travel walks and trips. - **Pet Travel Accessories:** The trend of developing practical accessories for pet owners that allow them to take their pets with them while traveling. - **Multifunctional Pet Products:** The trend of developing pet products that serve multiple purposes, focusing on practicality and convenience for pet owners. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Products:** Opportunities for developing convenient and portable pet feeding and drinking containers for on-the-go pets. - **Travel Accessories:** Opportunities for expanding into the pet travel market with practical travel accessories for pet owners. - **Outdoor Recreation Equipment:** Opportunities for creating innovative and practical outdoor recreation equipment that includes multifunctional pet products for pet owners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multifunctional Pet Leash Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slide-dangbler.md) - [Pet-Friendly Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asobu-buddy-bottle.md) - [Intelligent Maze-Style Dog Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hank-pet-bowl.md) - [Ergonomic Pet Snack Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-complete.md) - [Edible Dog Food Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juliane-fink.md) - [Innovative Pet Feeding Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trot-pets-1.md) - [Mess-Free Canine Treat Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-treat-holder.md) - [Multi-Use Pet Feeding Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trot-pets.md) - [Spill-Proof Kibble Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kibble-katcher.md)
