Created using only the tiny [brainteasing blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playcube), the Rubik's Cube mosaic is compromised of a staggering 85,794 of the toys and is 12-feet tall and 300 feet in length. In essence, it's an oversized art installation on a normal basis, but making it out of the block toys makes it seem almost unfathomable. As such, the Rubik's Cube mosaic has broken a Guiness World Record that the same group actually held. It's clear that the only people the group was looking to beat was simply themselves. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Rubik's Cube Mosaics:** Creating large-scale mosaics using Rubik's Cubes presents an opportunity for unique and eye-catching art installations. - **Art Installations:** Exploring unconventional materials and methods for art installations can lead to innovative and visually captivating creations. - **Guinness World Records:** Striving to break and set new Guinness World Records can inspire creativity and push the limits of what is possible. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can leverage Rubik's Cube mosaics as a way to promote unique and engaging installations. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Toy manufacturers can explore the potential of Rubik's Cubes as an artistic medium, creating new market opportunities. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can incorporate Guinness World Record attempts into their events, enhancing the excitement and drawing attention. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Impossible Iridescent Puzzle Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubiks-impossible-puzzle-cube.md) - [Record-Breaking Gummy Mosaics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gummy-candy-mosaic.md) - [Interactive Gaming Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubiks-wowcube.md) - [Celebratory Puzzle Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/50th-anniversary-rubiks-cube.md) - [Building Block Art Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-project-create-together.md) - [Social Puzzle Metaverses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubiks-run.md) - [Branded Denim Puzzle Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levis-x-rubiks-cube.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Abstract Art Block-Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/31210-modern-art-set.md)
