Of course, I'm also assuming if used recklessly, this would be the cause of many interoffice lawsuits. The Rubber Bandit Pen is a [standard ballpoint pen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twyst) outfitted with notches and a button to let you load and fire [rubber bands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otona-no-yaruki-pen). As Perpetual Kid puts it, "...what it comes down to is R-E-S-P-E-C-T in your office and if that requires a few rubber band shots from cube to cube, so be it." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 94% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Office Prank Gadgets:** Opportunity to develop innovative products that add fun and mischief to the workplace. - **Workplace Disruptions:** Potential for disruptive innovations that challenge traditional office dynamics and encourage creativity. - **Office Safety Solutions:** Demand for products or services that address potential legal issues and promote safe work environments. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Office Supplies:** Industry can explore new product lines and collaborations that incorporate playful and interactive features. - **Toy Industry:** Opportunity to create specialized products for adults, targeting the growing market of office pranks and practical jokes. - **Legal Services:** Demand for legal advice and guidance to address potential workplace disputes arising from the use of office prank gadgets. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Breakable Magnetic Fidget Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mezmopen.md) - [Off-Kilter Desktop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-pen-holder.md) - [Performance-Driven Pen Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/p3n-pen.md) - [Tactical Classic Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fisher-space-pen.md) - [Clipping Pen Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clippen.md) - [Refill-Friendly Ruler Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/combined-ruler-and-pen.md) - [Three-in-One Writing Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tp-pen.md) - [Tactical Tool-Packed Pens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tekto-tak-pen.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Pen Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-flash.md)
