The product is a [toilet sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-chess) made entirely out of [printed circuit boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/printed-circuit). This unique piece was created by the [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcade-clock) shop of PCB (printed circuit board) Creations. The Royal Data Throne is an impressive work of art standing a foot high and five inches wide. The entire piece is made up of computer parts and is a feast for the eyes for the select few who actually know what all of these parts do. This awesome work of art can be yours should you have an extra $500 lying around. Unfortunately, the Royal Data Throne is not a functioning toilet, but it would make an interesting piece of home decor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Circuit Board Art:** PCB Creations creates unique toilet sculpture made entirely out of printed circuit boards, creating a new trend of circuit board art. - **Upcycled Art:** The use of unconventional materials to create art such as circuit boards can disrupt the traditional art industry, leading to new opportunities for upcycled art. - **Smart Home Decor:** The Royal Data Throne's mix of technology and decor opens the door for a trend of smart home decor featuring unique and eye-catching designs. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The use of unconventional materials such as circuit boards to create unique, functional and aesthetic home decor can disrupt the traditional home decor industry. - **Technology:** The use of circuit boards as a unique medium for art and decor can open up new frontiers in the tech industry and inspire more creative use of technology. - **Upcycling:** The upcycling industry can be enriched by the use of unconventional materials such as circuit boards which are converted into trendy art pieces or home decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artfully Sculptured Textured Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-formation-02.md) - [Health Tracker Toilet Clips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/throne-one.md) - [Brutalist Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-02.md) - [Smart Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-toilets.md) - [Futuristic Intelligent Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intelligent-toilet.md) - [Sustainable Timber-Made Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodio-block-toilet.md) - [Automated Maintenance Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icleaningo-bidet-toilet-seat-dc02.md) - [Paper-Made Circuit Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/singleuse-circuit-board.md) - [Feature-Packed Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neolet.md)
