Designer **Roderick Vos** has come up with this creative rotating circular shelving furniture unit for the dutch company [linteloo](http://www.linteloo.nl). The shelf can be spun around to access the hidden books. I think this can be a great [space saving solution](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twoinone-billy-model) for both homes and businesses. And it does not have to be just a book shelf, you can use it to display products or decorations. Simply spin it when you get bored of looking at the same stuff. The piece will be featured at the *salone del mobile* in April 2008. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Space Saving Solutions:** A trend towards innovative furniture designs that maximize space in both homes and businesses. - **Rotating Furniture:** An emerging trend in furniture design that incorporates rotating mechanisms for easy accessibility and versatility. - **Multifunctional Displays:** A trend towards furniture designs that can be used to display a variety of products or decorations, providing both functionality and aesthetic value. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Opportunities for furniture designers to create innovative and space-saving pieces that incorporate rotating mechanisms. - **Home Organization:** Companies specializing in home organization solutions can explore the market for space-saving furniture that maximizes storage and accessibility. - **Retail Merchandising:** Retailers can utilize rotating furniture displays to showcase products in an interactive and engaging way, potentially increasing sales and customer engagement. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Rotating Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giralot-rotating-storage.md) - [Book-Storing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookgroove-bookrack.md) - [Twisting Donut-Shaped Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hullabaloo-bookshelf.md) - [Sliding Wintery Landscape Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manhwabang-bookshelf.md) - [Spinning Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-spinning-coffee-table.md) - [Twisting CGI-Designed Sideboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookscrew-sideboard.md) - [Expandable Bookcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burrow-index-bookcase.md) - [Simple Assembly Sustainable Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/svolta.md) - [Sculptural Bookshelves Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-bookshelf.md)
