Designed by architects Kristoffer Tejlgaard and Benny Jepsen, this geometry infused structure defies tradition and translates a futuristic design concept to life. This inspiring structure is built to resemble a [geodesic dome](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-ocean-dome), a method of construction that best optimizes its use of energy resources. Aiming to 'achieve more while using less', architects Tejlgaard and Jepsen create a visually striking architecture piece that is built with ecological and economic responsibility in mind. The Roskilde Dome houses a [music performance venu](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/what-goes-around-bandstand) that makes use of its open space. The structure boasts a brightly painted facade that shines when illuminated during night hours. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Arched Geometry Structures:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the construction industry by incorporating futuristic and sustainable design concepts. ### Who This Affects Most - **Music Festival:** Opportunity to create unique music venues with visually striking and eco-friendly structures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Public Pavilion Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tess-pavilion.md) - [Glowing Sphere Art Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netherlands-pavilion.md) - [Light Filtered Glulam Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paviljong-rosendal.md) - [Airborne Concert Halls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arka-nova.md) - [Climate-Sensitive Pavilion Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/querkraft.md) - [Code-Generated Pavilion Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-orb.md) - [Illuminating Water-Based Pavillions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelter-pavilion.md) - [Interactive Public Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/radius-transformation-pavilion.md) - [Sleek Spiralling Ramp Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/czech-pavilion.md)
