# Shadow Design Transform Your Roof Into Art With The Rosett By Ayman | Published 2008-04-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rosett References: [weidekamp.de](http://www.weidekamp.de/llotllov/index.htm) I have always been fascinated by shadow decorations and how light can transform a boring surface into a more visually appealing one. That's why I love this design, **Rosett**, which gives you an instant imitation of the appearance of shadow decoration. Simply screw it into an electric socket with just a light bulb and *voilà !* you have yourself a [beautiful and romantic light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evening-sky). Rosett is created using a [delicate laser-cutting procedure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design) that results in an artistic and beautiful interchange of [shadow and light on the wall](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shapes-of-light), evoking thoughts and memories from a different era. Rosett is designed by [llot llove](http://www.weidekamp.de/llotllov/index.htm) from Germany. It was recently showcased at the Zona Tortona in **Milan Design Week** 2008.
