Although adding ice to wine and champagne is typically looked down on, iconic luxury champagne brand [Veuve Clicquot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/simon-porte-jacquemus) recently added two rosé wines to their summer roster, both of which are meant to be enjoyed over ice.

The two new bottles -- Clicquot Rich and Rich Rosé -- are inspired by [mixology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-needle-drinks), and as such are meant to be drunk with ice, blended and treated as distilled liquors. The Clicquot Rich has signature wine notes "magnified by the presence of selected ingredients: pineapple, grapefruit zest, cucumber, celery, peppers or tea, all on the rocks," where as the Rich Rosé has "intense red berry fruit notes."

The game-changing pink rosé wines indicate how luxury beverages are becoming more accessible, even to less than discerning consumers.
