Made out of [acoustic absorbing foam and fabric](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-lounge), the Rosa Chair will ensure that people are able to enjoy some peace and quiet throughout their normally chaotic and hectic days. Designed by [Studio KMJ](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mysa), a design firm based in Zurich, Switzerland, the Rosa Chair keeps distractions to a minimum. While the shape of the Rosa Chair may have been inspired by a rose, it also serves a higher function than simply looking good. The curved form act as a [sound and visual barrier](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/introvert-chair) that protects the sitter from the outside world. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Acoustic-absorbing Furniture:** Opportunity for manufacturing companies to develop furniture that not only looks good but also absorbs sound, creating a peaceful environment for users. - **Distraction-free Design:** Opportunity for interior design firms to incorporate acoustic-absorbing materials in their designs, promoting productivity and focus in workplaces. - **Multifunctional Soundproofing:** Opportunity for architects and construction companies to integrate acoustic-absorbing materials into building structures, creating soundproof spaces for various purposes. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Manufacturing companies can explore the production of acoustic-absorbing furniture to meet the growing demand for quiet and peaceful environments. - **Interior Design:** Interior design firms can utilize acoustic-absorbing materials to create distraction-free spaces that enhance productivity and well-being. - **Construction and Architecture:** Architects and construction companies can incorporate acoustic-absorbing materials into buildings, providing soundproofing solutions for offices, studios, and public spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Avian-Inspired Privacy Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peacock-chair-concept.md) - [Sound-Absorbing Cozy Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buddyhub.md) - [Noise Reduction Gaming Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asus-rog-destrier-ergo.md) - [Wellbeing-Harnessing Fan-Like Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shanti-chair.md) - [Mindful Wooden Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tanuvi-hegde.md) - [Relaxed Anti-Distraction Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fortune-chair.md) - [Cocoon Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-introvert-chair.md) - [Modern Therapeutic Seating Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflect-1.md) - [Zen-Focused Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goyo-chair.md)
