The 'Fifty Wun' house is located in San Francisco, California and was designed by [Feldman Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-phoenix). The [open floor plan house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/openfield-house) merges the outside world with the interior. Its kitchen, dining area and living rooms all seamlessly merge together as one. The living room also flows outwards into the deck and towards a backyard with plenty of space for activities. [Energetic playfulness](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape) and an appreciation for the outdoors continues inside the interior of the house. An atrium and green roof deck sits on the top floor which is connected by a staircase that winds down into kitchen. The steel frame of the staircase is where an attached rope swings inside to help keep the energy and playfulness of the space thriving. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interactive Living Spaces:** Innovative designs for modern homes that create seamless indoor-outdoor experiences for inhabitants. - **Elevated Eco-friendly Homes:** Sustainable homes with green roofs and indoor atriums that promote healthy living and bring nature indoors. - **Multifunctional Furniture Trends:** Growing trend towards furniture that serves multiple purposes in small and open concept living spaces like rope swings in kitchens. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture and Design:** The architecture and design industry can leverage innovative design techniques to create living spaces that enhance the quality of life for home dwellers. - **Smart Home Technology:** Smart home technology providers can develop integrated systems that enable seamless indoor-outdoor transitions and enhance overall home experiences. - **Sustainability and Green Building:** Sustainability and green building industry can incorporate new features such as green roofs and indoor atriums in modern homes promoting healthy living and energy efficiency. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tranquil A‑Frame Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steel-a-frame.md) - [Elevated Leisure Habitats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-leisure-habitat.md) - [Sculptural Inverted Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-house-with-an-inverted-roof.md) - [Vaulted Structural Telescopic Treehouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistree-home.md) - [Adaptive Family Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no-ordinary-house.md) - [Materially Expressive Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-switch-house.md) - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Daylight-Filled Treetop Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atwater-house.md) - [Hillside Family Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sky-house-1.md)
