# Cat-Friendly Rope Stools Vonk by Krab is a Durable Seating Solution That Cats Can Scratch By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2020-01-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rope-stools References: [design-milk](https://design-milk.com/krab-designed-a-stool-your-cats-can-tear-up/) & [krabdesign.be](https://krabdesign.be/product/vonk-terra-cotta/) Whether a furniture piece is feline-friendly or not, cats will often use the design as a scratching post of their own—so Krab created a [rope stool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/entwined-objects) for the home called Vonk that can be shared by cats and people alike. While humans will appreciate that the space-saving, [durable stool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loki-stool) helps to add aesthetically pleasing seating and storage space to the home, cats will enjoy that the design can be used just like a classic scratching post or even just something to climb on. The made-to-order design by Krab is wrapped with thick sisal rope and boasts a lid that's made with birch plywood. Unlike many [cat accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neko-yama), this one promises to be a useful addition to interior spaces that serves both people and pets well.
