Rooted NYC began with the mission of bridging a closer connection between humans and nature through houseplants. It wanted to really capture the benefits that come from having greenery in a domestic space, encouraging better emotional, mental, and physical health.

It started off with a few physical stores in New York before turning its focus to the online store, sending houseplants straight to consumers' doorstep. Rooted helps customers select the perfect plant for their respective needs and personal preference. Notably, it also has a 14-day guarantee to provide security -- if the plant that arrives is not healthy, Rooted will send a new plant. It also features a 'Plant of the Month' giving each one a playful personality with a fun description of how it contributes to one's home.
