According to Dezeen, the radiators are covered with a [removable wheat-filled animal skin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-la-escocesa) to absorb their heat. Traditional radiators are often quite boring, but these ‘Domestic Animal’ radiators will create instant atmosphere in any living room. These animal-shaped radiators combined with a Christmas tree or two would transform a room into an indoor holiday forest. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Animal-inspired Radiators:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate animal-inspired designs into home heating systems for a unique and aesthetic touch. - **Customizable Radiator Covers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Offer removable covers for radiators that can be easily customized to match different interior styles. - **Eco-friendly Heating Solutions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop energy-efficient radiators that use sustainable materials and provide effective heat distribution. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with designers to create innovative radiator designs that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. - **Home Appliances:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new materials and technologies to enhance the efficiency and performance of home heating systems. - **Sustainable Living:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine renewable energy sources with innovative heating solutions to reduce carbon footprint and promote eco-friendly lifestyles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Design-Conscious Space Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-heater.md) - [Hanger-Resembling Towel Drying Radiators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zehnder-archibald.md) - [Bathroom-Ready Wall Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-heater.md) - [Modernized Ceramic Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delonghi-capsule-desk-loop.md) - [Flatpack Virtual Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphene-radiator.md) - [Mythical Creature Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-dragon-cast-iron-wood-stove-steamer.md) - [Design-Conscious Connected Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-electric-heater.md) - [Mailbox-Shaped Water Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/warmflow-messenger.md) - [Sleek Modern Towel Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jj-design.md)
