A unique setup, the rooftop furniture literally sits right up on the roof. Although some people will not be able to even conceive of eating or relaxing at the peak of their house, others who have wanted a different perspective of the world will enjoy this opportunity. A refreshing change from [typical balconies and sunrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/settle-outdoor), this rooftop furniture collection was designed by Lithuania-based interior designer Aine Bunikyte. It is made up of a [coffee table and two chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/espattio-platero-rocking-table) that are attached to a ladder. Although the rooftop furniture collection is easily installed onto just about any roof, it is hard to imagine how it can be used. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Rooftop Living:** Designing furniture specifically for rooftop spaces opens up new opportunities for creating unique and innovative outdoor living experiences. - **Alternative Perspectives:** Exploring furniture designs that offer a different perspective of the world challenges conventional notions of how outdoor spaces can be utilized. - **Portable Roof Installations:** Developing easily installable rooftop furniture allows for flexible and adaptable outdoor living solutions, giving people the chance to transform their rooftops into functional spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Integrating rooftop furniture into product lines presents a disruptive innovation opportunity to capture the market for unique and functional outdoor furniture. - **Architecture and Design:** Collaborating with rooftop furniture designers can offer architects and interior designers new options for incorporating innovative outdoor living concepts into their projects. - **Home Renovation and Construction:** Providing rooftop furniture as part of renovation or construction services can offer a competitive edge and appeal to customers looking to create unique rooftop experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Shaded Modern Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-shelter.md) - [Unconventional Outdoor Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-joy-furniture.md) - [Outdoor-Ready Structural Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-collection-1.md) - [Durable Designer Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/r24-collection.md) - [Skyscraper-Inspired Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ben-ganz.md) - [Climbing Rope-Crafted Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/entwined-objects.md) - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Playful Outdoor Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-new-raw-1.md) - [Sustainable Hi-Rise Outdoor Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lollygagger.md)
