# Condensed Rooftop Captures Photographer Michael Wolf Focuses on the Roofs of Paris By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-08-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roofs-of-paris References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/art/michael-wolf-paris-rooftops-robert-koch-gallery-08-27-2014/) & [photomichaelwolf](http://photomichaelwolf.com/) Turning his focus to the roofs of Paris, Michael Wolf captures the mundane in his latest series. However, although the tops of buildings seem boring, he still manages to present them from an interesting angle. His captures make each detail look extremely minuscule, which also allows viewers to take time and examine each section of the photo. Oftentimes rooftops are something that people ignore, but this [photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1) highlights that there is some intricacy involved in this section of a building. It's also apparent just how much cement is used to construct these areas of a home, and really gives meaning to calling most cities a "concrete jungle." Wolfe makes the roofs of Paris look like works of art instead of just simple construction.
