The Roofer by Benjamin Hubert is a flexible wire lamp covered in tiles made from flexible silicon polymers. The Roofer by Benjamin Hubert is unique in that its shape can be changed on the fly. Simply remove the tiles and bend the Roofer's frame to your heart's content. The Roofer's flexible and creative design will resonate with consumers who don't usually peruse furniture coming out of European design shows. The Roofer is set to debut in Milan next month. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modular Lighting:** The trend of modular lighting allows for flexible design and customization options. - **Flexible Design:** The trend of flexible design enables products to adapt to the needs and preferences of consumers. - **Creative Furniture:** The trend of creative furniture appeals to consumers seeking unique and innovative designs. ### Where This Applies - **Lighting:** The lighting industry can explore the potential of modular lighting to offer customizable lighting solutions. - **Home Furnishings:** The home furnishings industry can incorporate flexible design elements into products to cater to individual consumer preferences. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can embrace creative furniture designs that add a distinctive touch to spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Umbrella-Inspired Whimsical Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wasaga-lamp.md) - [Fluid Structural Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loja.md) - [Umbrella-Resembling Playful Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rain-man-lamp.md) - [Structural Two-Part Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luno-lamp.md) - [Hat-Like Fabric Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-lamp.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Shape-Shifting Modular Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moodi.md) - [Minimal Integrated Tile LIghting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uu-tiles.md) - [Urban Debris-Crafted Portable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remli.md)
