If you’ve ever spent a tiring day at the gym, you’ve probably felt like one of these Rona Binay illustrations.

Depicting silhouettes of people ripping off their limbs, this simplistic yet provocative series explores people’s relationship with their bodies and the differences between a natural body and one that’s been through extensive training. For example, one image shows a ballerina bending her leg behind her head, with her torso and thigh snapped off due to the extreme tension being placed on those areas. Another image depicts a yogi’s head shooting upwards, perhaps to demonstrate his trained mind disassociating itself from the body.

Rona Binay is based in Istanbul, Turkey, though she was born in Washington DC. Many of her creations feature a [simplistic style](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladder-series) and stress a conveyance of messages more so than technical skill.
