Israeli designer Ron Arad has designed a new [iconic Design Museum](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-for-architecture) in Holon, near Tel Aviv. The project was designed to grace a natural national postage stamp; it seems that cities like [iconic structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capital-international-exhibition) are popular postage stamp motifs.

Ron Arad, born in 1951, was educated at the Jerusalem Academy of Art and later at the AA (Architectural Association School of Architecture) in London. Arad is Professor of Design Product at the [Royal College of Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/raise-the-roof-building-for-change) in London.
