The project concerns itself with the aesthetic of a Melbourne-based [Italian eatery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cicchetti-piccadilly) called 'Pantolina.' The business is located in a building that is 100 years old and studio Biasol takes advantage of that in order to instill an atmosphere that hints at Ancient Rome. As a result, the romantic restaurant interior is both edgy and delicate. While the [exposed concrete walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onyx-aether) contribute to the industrial street-like vibe of Pantolina, the interior is softened by the installment of rose marble accents that are meant "to resemble the pink granite [...] in Roman Architecture".
