Although the shape of this lamp is quite abstract, especially in context to its inspiration, it's hard not to appreciate the [simple lines and geometric touches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-light) that it is made up of. not to mention that Roman Shpelyk's use of wood gives the contemporary design a more accessible look. Finished with [subtle metal accents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape), Roman Shpelyk's lamp design doesn't just look good, it's practical as well. It has a small point stick that allows the user to adjust the shade for more or less LED lighting. Not to mention that the large light surface, which can point directly down on any surface, makes it perfect for work spaces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Light Fixtures:** The trend of minimalist light fixtures offers opportunities for disruptive innovation in creating sleek and streamlined lighting designs. - **Abstract Lighting Designs:** The trend of abstract lighting designs presents opportunities for disruptive innovation in creating unique and visually striking lamps. - **Adjustable LED Lighting:** The trend of adjustable LED lighting opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation in creating customizable and energy-efficient lighting solutions. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** In the interior design industry, there are opportunities for disruptive innovation in creating modern and aesthetically pleasing lighting fixtures. - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can explore disruptive innovation by incorporating elegant and functional light fixtures into their designs. - **Technology:** The technology industry can seize disruptive innovation opportunities by developing smart lighting solutions with adjustable LED features. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Weighted Multi-Position Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-desk-lamp-design.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Perforated LED Table Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lume.md) - [Pine Wood-Inspired Minimal Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jakobsson.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Mushroom-Inspired Sleek Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lunar-lamp-concept.md) - [Simplistically Complex 3D-Printed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sopp-lamp.md) - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md)
