If you're a child of the 80s, chances are you remember those delightful Weebles that wobbled but never fell down. This ingenious lamp, designed by Estiva Design Studio, operates on the same principal as those delightful dolls. Its [weighted curved base](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape) ensures that no matter what kind of impact it comes in contact with, the lamp will always right itself. Even with a house full of kids, dogs and accident-proned family members, the Roly-Poly lamp will never succumb to a violent end. Gorgeously [sleek and curvaceous](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dollight-series), the Roly-Poly lamp is sure to turn a few heads. Ideal for a nursery or playroom, the Roly Poly lamp will provide any space with an ample amount of light safely. Sure to put a nostalgic smile on your face, the Roly-Poly lamp, like the Weebles before it, wobbles but doesn't fall down. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Weebles-inspired Design:** Innovative products that incorporate the Weebles design principle are an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the home decor industry. - **Child-friendly Home Products:** There is a potential for innovative and safe home products targeting families with children and pets. - **Stable and Durable Lighting Fixtures:** Creating lighting fixtures that are impact-resistant and can withstand accidents has a potential to disrupt the lighting industry. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The design principle used for the Roly-Poly lamp is an opportunity to create more child-friendly home decor products. - **Family-oriented Products:** There is a market for durable, safe and family-friendly products, like the Roly-Poly lamp, in the childcare and pet products industry. - **Lighting Industry:** Developing lighting fixtures that are impact-resistant and can endure accidents has a potential to disrupt the lighting industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pasta-Inspired Curvaceous Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic-lamp.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Bold Playful Lighting Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp.md) - [Task-Managing Dynamic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fall-lamp-concept.md) - [Bulbous Whimsical Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic.md) - [Umbrella-Inspired Whimsical Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wasaga-lamp.md) - [Childhood-Inspired Magnetic Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbe.md) - [Ultra-Flexible Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anywhereuse-lamp.md) - [Tiltable Dimmable Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nod-lamp.md) - [Retro-Tinged Compact Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-mini.md)
