The game set is made from high-quality materials like polyurethane and beechwood, making them solid and durable for hours of use. The intricate design allows for it to be not only [aesthetically pleasing with its wood ridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-chess-set) but also practical and compact as it can be rolled up to be put away. The pieces also save space by being double-sided with the chess pieces printed on one side and are blank on the others for the checker pieces.
