The side table features a rounded plywood construction that has a large cutout in the front section to provide [ample storage space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ratio-series) in the interior compartment. The top section features a removable plywood topper, while a built-in leather sling below offers a spot to place multiple bottles of wine or any other item of your choosing. The 'Roll' side table maximizes storage and puts items on display in an organized manner to transform the aesthetic of a space. This speaks to the changing functionality of the modern consumer home where storage is embraced, but with a fashion-focused twist. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 15% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Fashionable Storage:** Furniture designs that embrace organization but add a fashion-focused twist - **Multi-functional Furniture:** Furniture that goes beyond its basic function to include additional storage or use - **Display Storage:** Furniture designs that put items on display in an organized manner ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** Creating new designs and products for the modern consumer home furniture market - **Interior Design:** Incorporating multi-functional furniture into design plans for homes and living spaces - **Wine Industry:** Creating furniture designs specifically geared towards wine storage and display ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stylish Storage-Equipped Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/basso-side-table.md) - [Asymmetrical Storage Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crossbred-side-table.md) - [Wine-Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/placemat-hightop-table.md) - [Bookcase-Equipped Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/low-wall-side-table.md) - [Perplexingly Angular Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tadashi-side-table.md) - [Multi-Position Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-side-table.md) - [Minimalist Book Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-coffee-table.md) - [Adaptable Bedroom Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mate-bedside-table.md) - [Modernized Old-Fashioned Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/union-side-table.md)
