The Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey involves the next evolution of beer brewers around the world. As spirit distillers enter into beer territory so too are [beer brewers entering theirs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buffalo-trace-experimental-collection-26). Made using the same three malts as the label's legendary Dead Guy Ale, which gives it a full-bodied palate with fruity accents and a long spicy hop finish, the Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey is a great alternative to more iconic brands and traditional recipes.

Distilled twice through [copper pot stills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/copenhagen-distillery-whisky-rare-no4), the Rogue Dead Guy Whiskey is then [aged in American oak barrels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/double-oak-bourbon) for three months before bottling. Foregoing the deep reddish amber hue that the beer is known to have, this whiskey has a lighter coloring that is more in line with the spirit.
