The Pop/Up installation was received for the city of Utrect, Netherlands. The table set is constructed out of heavy-duty metal which is important in keeping it solid as when it is on the ground it is constantly being walked upon. To get the three-piece furniture set out of the ground people wanting to use have to engage the [pump system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conqueror-inflatable) which is nearby. The Pop/Up installation by Carmela Bogman and Rogier Martens can also be rearranged to [different heights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture) of the occupants choosing. Then when they are done with the furniture set, it is easily pumped back in to the ground like it was never there. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Hidden Outdoor Furniture:** The trend of creating outdoor furniture that can be hidden underground, providing a space-saving and aesthetically pleasing solution. - **Pump System Furniture:** The trend of incorporating pump systems into furniture designs, allowing for easy deployment and retraction of furniture pieces. - **Adaptable Furniture Heights:** The trend of designing furniture that can be adjusted to different heights, catering to the preferences and needs of different occupants. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Furniture:** The outdoor furniture industry can explore the development of hidden furniture designs, offering innovative solutions for space-constrained environments. - **Home Improvement:** The home improvement industry can leverage pump system furniture designs to provide customers with convenient and customizable furniture options for their outdoor spaces. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can embrace the trend of adaptable furniture heights to create versatile and flexible living spaces that can cater to individuals' changing needs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Shaded Modern Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-shelter.md) - [Multifunctional Park Picnic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-picnic-furniture.md) - [Compact Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-1.md) - [Geometrically Informed Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-table1.md) - [Living Plant DIY Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-hideaway.md) - [Imaginative Modern Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inside-collection.md) - [Sustainable Colorful Multifunctional Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superpop.md) - [Colorful Modular Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mangas.md) - [Partially Buried Tranquil Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-under-the-ground.md)
