Mattel has launched the "Ladies of the 80s" collection of rock icon-inspired Barbie dolls. The first three singers highlighted in the collection are Joan Jett, Cyndi Lauper and Debbie Harry.
The Joan Jett version features the doll with Joan’s black shag hairdo and is dressed in "leather" pants, a Joan Jett t-shirt, red hightop sneakers and is holding a guitar.
The Cyndi Lauper doll has teased red and blonde hair and is dressed in Cyndi’s iconic red dress from the video "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" that catapulted her to pop stardom.
Third in the "Ladies of the 80s" lineup is Blondie front woman, Debbie Harry. The doll has Debbie’s signature dark and platinum hairdo, wears a hot-pink mini dress and stilettos and comes with a microphone.
Punch up the cool quotient of your doll collection by adding your favorites from the "Ladies of the 80s" line. Fingers crossed that they add Pat Benatar and Chrissie Hynde.
