# Carbon Fiber Rockers Rocking Morevive Dark Horse by NextOfKin Creatives is Ultra-Modern By Meghan Young | Published 2013-04-17 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rocking-morevive-dark-horse References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2013/04/17/coolest-rock-on-the-block/) & [nextofkincreatives](http://www.nextofkincreatives.com/) The Rocking Morevive Dark Horse looks as though it were inspired by a race car. Full of sleek lines and made out of [carbon fiber](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ducati-panigale-v4-lamborghini), it would leave every other rocker out there in the dust, if they weren't all fixed to a single point. It even encourages a low posture from the child since the tail is almost higher than the head. Designed by [NextOfKin Creatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stride-senze), a studio based in Singapore, the Rocking Morevive Dark Horse features [interchangeable heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rollsroyce-cameo) that allow children to customize their ride. The ultra-modern rocker can either look like an abstract horse or embrace its more mechanical aesthetic. It is available in two versions, a more natural wooden one with racing stripes and a contemporary black option. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Carbon Fiber Furniture:** A trend in furniture design towards using high-tech materials, especially carbon fiber, to create modern and unique pieces like NextOfKin Creative's Rocking Morevive Dark Horse. - **Customizable Children's Furniture:** A trend in children's furniture design towards creating customizable pieces like NextOfKin Creative's Rocking Morevive Dark Horse, which features interchangeable heads for children to customize their ride. - **Mechanical Aesthetic Furniture:** A trend in furniture design towards incorporating a mechanical or machine-inspired aesthetic in modern furniture pieces, exemplified by NextOfKin Creative's Rocking Morevive Dark Horse. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can embrace using high-tech materials like carbon fiber to create eye-catching and unique pieces that stand out in the market. - **Children's Toy Design:** Toy designers can take inspiration from NextOfKin Creative's Rocking Morevive Dark Horse and create customizable toys for children that encourage creativity and personalization. - **Home Decor and Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate modern, machine-inspired furniture pieces like NextOfKin Creative's Rocking Morevive Dark Horse into their designs to create a unique and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Structural Rocking Horses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rocking-horse-chair.md) - [Fabric-Wrapped Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zhe-rocking-chair.md) - [Motion Blur-Inspired Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fast-rocking-chair.md) - [Otherworldly Themed Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-rocking.md) - [Dynamic Movement Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wobbl-rocking-chair.md) - [Contemporary Rocking Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-rocking-chair.md) - [Youth-Ready Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ready-rocker-1.md) - [Modernized Rocking Chair Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodding-chair.md) - [All-Ages Portable Rockers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ready-rocker.md)
