The latest in his table portfolio is the [Rock Grid](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rock-capital-warsaw-office) table. The table has a cold feel to say the least. It gives off the impression that you have an accessible cage in your living room. While the Rock Grid table is definitely not homey, it is a natural continuation of Arik Levy's table design. Take a look at the gallery, which features Levy's brilliant table design throughout the years. **Implications** - Levy's chain link table may not be for everyone, but for the appreciator of [modern industrial interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intra-side-table), it is the perfect accent. If the idea intrigues you, the table will be showing at the Rove Gallery Fruit and Flowers show later this month -- or, you can take a look at the gallery, which features Levy’s brilliant table design throughout the years. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 28% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Chain Link Furniture Design:** Creating tables and other furniture using chain link material for a more modern and industrial design aesthetic. - **Modular Table Design:** Designing tables that are not traditional-looking and can be adjusted and reassembled for adaptable home decor. - **Functional Non-traditional Furniture:** Designers are creating furniture that is more industrial and less homey, providing a different take on home decor. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Manufacturers can explore creating unconventional furniture pieces by using materials like chain link for a more modern aesthetic. - **Home Decor Retail:** Retailers can embrace and market non-traditional furniture design for those wanting to add an industrial touch to their home decor. - **Art Exhibition:** Art galleries and exhibitions can showcase furniture design as an art form, encouraging artists to create functional pieces that challenge traditional design norms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Raw Stone-Inspired Jagged Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fels-coffee-table.md) - [Dynamic Strong Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharp-table.md) - [Geologically Fluid Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liquid-geology-table-collection.md) - [Dynamic Coffee Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ryb-coffee-table.md) - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Bent Steel Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creu-coffee-table.md) - [Wavy Sculptural Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-coffee-tables.md) - [Blurred Bold Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blur-coffee-table.md) - [Interlocking Puzzle-Like Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-table.md)
