And these bots are not just any ordinary robots. Included in the RobotvilleEU Festival "roster" are robots that can swim and swarm, as well as one that, if you stand close enough to it, will begin to mimic your face. There will also be a fitness coach robot that can teach you workout routines, a dinosaur robot named 'Pleo' made to be a pet and one that is a creepy-looking hand, called the 'Shadow Dextrous Hand,' which mimics the movement of a human hand and was designed for autistic children to play with, says DesignWeek. In addition to presenting the latest and greatest in robot design and research, the RobotvilleEU Festival aims to explore the role of robots can take in ordinary life. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [AI](https://www.trendhunter.com/ai) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Swimming Robots:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in developing underwater exploration robots with advanced swimming capabilities. - **Mimicking Robots:** Potential for disruptive innovation in creating robots that can closely mimic human facial expressions and behavior. - **Robots for Autism:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in designing robots specifically for autistic children to provide therapeutic play and interaction. ### Who This Affects Most - **Robotics:** Robust growth in the robotics industry as advancements in technology enable the development of increasingly versatile and specialized robots. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive opportunities in the entertainment industry by incorporating robots that mimic human behavior to enhance interactive experiences. - **Healthcare:** Innovations in robotics present disruptive potential in healthcare through the development of assistive robots for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Spaceship-Like Robot Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seoul-robot-ai.md) - [Humanoid Robot Technologies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/advanced-humanoid.md) - [Futuristic Museum Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unnatural-history-museum-of-singapore.md) - [Humanoid Robot Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/world-robot-conference.md) - [Advanced Humanoid Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ameca.md) - [Humanoid Robotics Matchmaking Conferences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matchmaking-conference.md) - [AI Robotics Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/earth-rover-challenge-event.md) - [Emotional Lifelike Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lovot.md) - [Robotic Wedding Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robocake.md)
