Watch the video to see this robotic mousetrap in action. Don’t worry--if you’re squeamish, it’s only a plush mouse that gets trapped on film. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Robotic Mousetraps:** The trend of using robotic technology to create more efficient and hands-off mousetrap solutions. - **Hands-off Pest Control:** The trend of developing innovative and automated solutions for pest control, reducing the need for human intervention. - **Advanced Automation in Home Devices:** The trend of incorporating advanced automation and robotics into everyday household devices for improved functionality. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Automation:** The industry that focuses on developing and manufacturing automated devices to enhance the functionality of homes. - **Pest Control Services:** The industry that provides professional services and solutions for pest control and eradication. - **Robotics:** The industry that involves the design, development, and production of robotic systems and technologies for various applications. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bird-Diverting Robotic Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robotic-system.md) - [Pest-Slaying Agricultural Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pestslaying-agricultural-robot.md) - [Influencer-Inspired Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tomcat.md) - [Self-Maintaining Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/litterbot-pro.md) - [Health-Conscious Mouse Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergo-ergonomic-mouse-concept.md) - [Roving Household Pet Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meowmates.md) - [Remotely Controlled Grain Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grain-robot.md) - [Steampunk Multifunctional Computer Mouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/d-mouse.md) - [Automated Mattress Cleaning Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dust-mite-vacuum-robot.md)
