# Robotic Roadsters All Your Drivers Belong to Us With the Robotic Audi TTS By Michael Hines | Published 2010-04-02 | Autos Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robotic-audi-tts References: [wired](http://www.wired.com/autopia/2010/03/audi-autonomous-tts-pikes-peak/) & [audiusa](http://www.audiusa.com/us/brand/en.html?csref=36960466215057041) [Audi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audi-concept-vehicle), [Volkswagen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/id-buzz-ad) and [Stanford](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tandem-drift-sequence) have decided to push the limits of robotic driving by sending up a robotic Audi TTS up Pike's Peak. This will be legendary. This may seem like a fool's errand, but Audi is actually trying to see how much they can integrate robotic control into future models for safety purposes. Think about it--if the robotic Audi TTS owns Pike's Peak, it could own anything. I'd trust my robot Audi to pull over when I'm asleep or counter-steer for me. I welcome the rise of the machines with arms wide open. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Robotic Driving Integration:** Exploring the integration of robotic control into vehicles for enhanced safety measures. - **Autonomous Vehicle Domination:** Examining the potential for autonomous vehicles to dominate various terrains and environments. - **Rise of Robotic Cars:** Embracing the emergence of robotic cars as a reliable and trusted mode of transportation. ### Where This Applies - **Automotive Technology:** Exploring innovative ways to integrate robotic control into future vehicle models. - **Transportation:** Examining the impact of autonomous vehicles in transforming the transportation industry. - **Robotics:** Investigating the advancements in robotic technology for the automotive sector. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Production-Ready Robotic Taxis](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/id-buzz-ad.md) - [Lounge-Like Autonomous Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audi-concept-vehicle.md) - [AI-Designed Drift Sequences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gr-supra.md) - [Autonomous Tandem Drift Sequences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tandem-drift-sequence.md) - [Autonomous Vehicle Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tensor-robocar.md) - [Transforming Commuter Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audi-vista-roadster.md) - [Open-Air Autonomous Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar-adaptor.md) - [Oversized Well-Appointed Electric Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audi-urbansphere-concept.md) - [Sleekly-Designed Electric Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audi-rs-etron-gt.md)
