# Friendly Nieghborhood Robot Films This Robot Video is an Endearing Look at Robots in the City By Angela Rajic | Published 2014-02-23 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robot-video References: [mightymega](http://mightymega.com/2014/02/19/wind-up-robots-walk-our-city-streets/) & [kuriositas](http://www.kuriositas.com/2014/02/wind-up-bots.html) Filmmaker Fernando Livschitz created this engaging robot video that depicts a society where robots live and work right alongside humans. A robot woman walks her [robot dog](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecovacs-lilmilo), colorful and strange looking robots stroll through parks and cross streets on pedestrian walkways. There's even a cute [robotic marching band](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toy-robot-concept) coming down the street. This robot video is an optimistic and endearing look at how technology could possibly develop and how it would blend into everyday human society. The robots are large, small, fast, slow and sometimes a little reckless, as shown by one robot man rolling a big box down a street haphazardly. This video is fun and imaginative and a great piece of whimsical storytelling about the future, reminiscent of the film Wall-E. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [AI](https://www.trendhunter.com/ai) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Robot Workforce Integration:** Opportunity for businesses to explore the integration of robots into everyday human society and work environments. - **Technology Development:** Innovative advancements in technology that could shape the future of robotics and their integration with humans. - **Whimsical Futuristic Storytelling:** Growing demand for creative storytelling that explores the possibilities of a technologically-driven future society. ### Where This Applies - **Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in automating manufacturing processes with the integration of robots. - **Entertainment:** Opportunity for creative industries to leverage robotics in creating engaging and imaginative entertainment experiences. - **Robotics and AI:** Technological advancements in robotics and AI present disruptive opportunities in various industries such as healthcare, transportation, and retail. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smiling Package Delivery Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coop-delivery-robot.md) - [Child-Friendly Service Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/next-generation-service-robot.md) - [Interactive Companion Care-Bots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fourier-g3.md) - [Humanoid Chore Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindon-unitree-g1.md) - [Film-Inspired AI-Powered Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doly.md) - [Self-Editing Pet Companion Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-vex.md) - [Rolling Pet Connectivity Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freshrobot-rollbot.md) - [Solo Citizen Protection Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-companion-robot.md) - [Charming Robotic House Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loona-pet-robot.md)
