Professor Ingeborg M. Rocker and Graduate School of Design students at Harvard University programmed the crafty [robot arm](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electrolux-laundry-robot) to place 4,100 wooden bricks together to create the complex double-curvature walls. The project, which was originally created to highlight material and technical limits, may also be used as a model for digital design and education. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reconfigurable Timber Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arkhive.md) - [Stock Brick Arched Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brick-from-a-stone.md) - [Voice-Led Fabrication Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speech-to-reality.md) - [Automated Worksite Printer Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hp-siteprint.md) - [Wool-Weaving Cobots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flocks-wobot.md) - [Low-Carbon Biomaterial Bricks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cob-brick.md) - [3D-Printed Neighborhood Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wolf-ranch.md) - [Luxe Fashion Brick Workshops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maroquinerie-de-louviers.md) - [Factory-Adjacent Dynamic Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovation-campus-1.md)
